Mini Golf with our Buddy class

Last week Mrs Wallace came up with a fun idea for us to try with our buddy class. It was "Mini Golf"
Each person had two counters and had to flick them into 18 different holes around the room ( much like the old game of Tiddly Winks.)The challenge was that the person with the lowest score was the winner. It was so much fun!!!! Thanks Mrs Wallace, you're a STAR!

The Library Learning Hub

Each Thursday room 19 and 24 combine for Library. It is an exciting space with wonderful furniture and a range of engaging activities. Some recent additions are the Lego wall, Puppet Show and Drawing table. The Learning Hub is fun!

Olympic Torches

Athena and Zoey are holding our Olympic torches so everyone can get a closer look.

Here are some belated photos of Mrs Dijkstra's group at Motat. We had a fun day!

Paper Helicopters

With our buddy class we made paper helicopters and here is Zoey standing on top of the table tennis table trailing them.

Tinkertime

Baxter's Dad has been assisting Room 24 on Tuesday afternoons with Tinkertime, where we experiment with Brain Box, an electronics set, We followed the instruction manual and tried to figure out the circuits. We especially enjoyed when the yellow fan lifted off and spun around the room.

Eric Carle Art

To complete our Inquiry about "Insects" we used Eric Carles's painting techniques and then collage to construct a Praying Mantis. They look so real!!!
