Today Mrs Huang our new Learning Assistant talked to us about "Chinese New Year" it's origin and traditions. We then made a monkey puppet to celebrate "The year of the Monkey". Mrs Dijkstra also brought a soft toy for the class.
Hi Room 24, we are really lucky to have Mrs Huang working at Sunnyhills so that we can ask her all about Chinese New Year. I really like your monkey puppets and I look forward to meeting your soft toy monkey when I come and visit next!
